Step into a living time capsule and discover the nostalgic heart of Osaka. This tour takes you through the vibrant Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street, officially the longest shopping arcade in Japan. Stretching over 2.6 kilometers, it is packed with hundreds of diverse local shops. Then we’ll wander into Nakazakicho, a charming neighborhood that miraculously escaped the air raids of WWII. With its preserved pre-war streetscapes, narrow alleys, and renovated old houses turned into cozy cafes and vintage boutiques.

Osaka Tenmangu Shrine

We begin at this historic spiritual landmark, dedicated to the deity of learning and the heart of the famous Tenjin Festival.

Tenjinbashi-suji Shopping Street (South Entrance)

Step into the starting point of Japan’s longest arcade and feel the local energy.

A Local Favorite: Korokke Nakamura-ya

Taste the most famous croquettes in the city. Crispy, golden, and loved by locals—this is the ultimate street food experience.

North End of the Arcade

After exploring the length of the street, we reach the north end.

Entrance of Nakazakicho Area. A hidden spot for lovers of retro style. Explore unique vintage and second-hand clothing in this distinctive building.

Green Pepe

Visit one of the most iconic retro shops in the area, filled with nostalgic treasures, vintage furniture, and 1970s collectibles.

Nakazakicho Station
